We are so pleased to share with you that we are getting a new website! We are not so patiently waiting for the new proposed site designs to arrive in our email any day now. We are optimistic that the new site will not only be far more functional but that it will also reflect the image and vibe of the shop much better.
We are also going to start to offer online shopping as well. We will begin by adding new inventory as it comes in and slowly over time we will be a fully functional online quilt shop, just a click away!
We’ll keep you posted!

Month Long Celebration!!
Help us celebrate the wonderful country we live in by contributing to our Red and White display for the month of July.
Bring in any quilt like projects you have made that are red and white. They can be quilts, purses, wall hangings, garments, placemats, etc etc etc. The projects do not have to be solely red and white but predominately red and white. They do not have to feature a Canadian Flag, just red and white in colour.
We will have the projects on display for the month of July in the classroom upstairs. They will not be judged. The Quilt Police are not allowed on our property! We will have a Viewer’s Choice and award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes. Also be sure to stop by to see all of the projects on display.
Spread the word and join the fun!!
For those quilters who bought the Purely Canadian pattern at Creativfest please be advised there is a correction to the border instructions. The correction can be found here: http://quiltsbyjen.ca/pattern-errata/
International Mystery Club is back and better than ever!!
Join Arlene the second Sunday of the month from 10am—4pm starting in April (14th) and be whisked away to a different country each time! Every month you will make a different quilt top that was inspired by a particular country. This year you will be travelling to Holland, Spain, Cuba, Scotland, Switzerland, Belgium, Turkey and Iceland. Aside from the country and colour choices you will know nothing about the quilt until Arlene decides it is time to reveal the mystery for the day!
Once you sign up for a class you will receive your passport. You will earn stamps for coming to class, purchasing your border, purchasing your backing and purchasing your batting. Those are all optional purchases but you will be rewarded for them. At the end of your journey you can add up all the stamps and receive that amount of discount on the purchase of your choice, not an item, but your whole purchase (excluding machines, cabinets and special orders)!!
As mentioned the class is every month but you can come only when it is convenient for you, you do not have to attend every class. However, by the end of the year you could have 8 finished quilts to give as gifts that were made at a reasonable price. The cost of the class and the kit is $75.98.
Here are the colour choices for Holland. If you would like to sign up for the class, just give us a call 705 458 4546.
